We are a referral service
SD Water Heaters is not a plumbing company. We do not install, repair or sell water heaters. When you call or send the form, we pass your request to an independent, licensed water heater company serving your part of San Diego County.
How we are paid
The company pays us for referrals. The service is free for you, and you are never obligated to hire the company you are connected with.
Who is responsible for the work
The company you hire is responsible for its quote, work, permits, warranty and licensing. Before you hire anyone:
- Ask for their California contractor license number and verify it at cslb.ca.gov. Water heater work falls under the C-36 plumbing classification.
- Make sure the quote includes the permit and any code upgrades (straps, drain pan, expansion tank).
- Get the model, size and warranty in writing.
